CBSE Class 10th Exam Analysis 2020

CBSE has increased the number of objective type multiple choice questions for some of the subjects comparing to previous year papers of class 10. However, CBSE has changed the pattern of objective questions.

Multiple options have been given for some of the questions, while some questions haven’t any option. Student have to answer these type of questions in one word or one sentence.

According to student’s feedback some the students find the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Papers 2020 easier and some them have found It difficult and time taking.

The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate level this year. Some sections in the exam was time taking and tricky.

Questions have been asked from NCERT Textbooks and based on CBSE Class 10th Sample Papers 2020. Some previous year questions are also repeated in this year’s exams.

No questions were out of syllabus in this year Class 10th Board Exams 2020.

If we talk about expected marks in each paper, An average student can expect 60-70 marks out of maximum 80 marks.

CBSE Class 10th Exam Pattern 2020

The exam conducting board has brought CBSE New Exam Pattern for Class 10th and changes in the internal assessment (IA). As per the new pattern.

The class 10th is consists of total 100 marks which is subdivided as:

• Annual Board Exam: 80 Marks
• Internal Assessment: 20 Marks

There are 6 types of objective questions in CBSE Class 10th Exams 2020 which are as following:

1. Multiple Choice
2. Multiple Response
3. True And False
4. Fill in the blank
5. Assertion- Region
6. Match Making.

• As per the updated CBSE Class 10 Mark System, maximum marks are 80 for each subject.
• Students need to secure 33% which is the passing marks in CBSE class 10 out of 80 in each subject.
• Individual grades and marks will be awarded for each subject.
• Total Time Duration – 3 Hours

CBSE Class 10th Marking Scheme 2020: Internal Assesment

Note – 3 Periodic tests will be conducted in entire academic session and the average of best 2 would be taken for the submission. The weightage of Periodic test will be 5 marks only.
