Bihar Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana is a scheme for Girls (Kanya). Govt. of Bihar provide financial support for Girl from her Born to Graduation Study under the Scheme of Mukhymantri Kanya Utthan Yojana.

Under Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojna, the education department has invited online applications from graduated girl students of Bihar for the Girl Child Graduate Incentive Scheme.

Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is being implemented for the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana. The trial has been completed on this.

This will ease the investigation. Also, the amount of the scheme will be easily available to the students in their bank account through DBT.

Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria that you will have to follow –

• Girl Should be a resident of Bihar.
• Belongs to a Poor family.
• No-one Should be serving in Govt Department from Girls Family.
• The girl should have passed graduation after 25th April 2018 from any recognized university of Bihar.

Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana Amount

Under this scheme, the amount of 40,000 is given in different installments, the list of which is given below.

Under this scheme, 2000 are given in the account of the girl’s parents on the birth of the girl child and after this, 1000 are given on vaccination.

1000 is given after the girl turns one year and similarly, ten thousand incentive amount is given for passing inter, and twenty-five thousand amount is given for passing graduation.

For Sanitary Napkin

Bihar government used to give 150 rupees for sanitary napkins but now it has been doubled and now the amount of 300 rupees is provided to the girls of Bihar.

It is also under the Bihar Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana. Along with this, all the girls are also paid for uniforms.

For School Uniform

Let us tell you that under the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana for the first girls uniform, Rs 400 at the age of 1 to 2 years, Rs 500 at the age of 3 to 5 years, and Rs 700 at the age of 6 to 8 years and Rs 1000 at the age of 9 to 12 years in Bihar was given.

But now it has also been increased and now it is Rs 600 at the age of 1 to 2 years and Rs 700 at the age of 3 to 5 years and Rs 1000 at the age of 6 to 8 years and Rs 1500 at the age of 9 to 12 years. This is directly transferred to the girls’ bank account.

On acceptance of the application, the beneficiary will get information on mobile. After the examination from the University, the amount of 25 thousand rupees will be sent to the beneficiary account in account.

The online application received from the newly passed universities (Pataliputra, Munger, and Purnia) colleges passed by the colleges will be executed by their parent university.
