CBSE 10th And 12th Board Exams 2020 Postponed Due To Coronavirus: Central Board Of Secondary Education has released an official notification late evening on 18th March 2020, Wedenesday regarding Postponement of CBSE Class 10th and 12th Board Exams 2020. The official notification is available here to download.
As a precautionary measure and in compliance of the instructions received from Secretary, Department of Higher Education/School Education and Literacy, Government Of India, It has been decided to reschedule the ongoing board examinations for class 10 and class 12 students all across the country and abroad.

In the notification released, the CBSE has instructed that, “All ongoing board examinations of classes 10 and 12, being held in examination centres in India and abroad, and scheduled between 19th March, 2020 to 31st March, 2020 (both dates inclusive), shall be rescheduled after 31st March, 2020.“
CBSE Re-Examinations Schedule 2020
CBSE had already rescheduleed the CBSE Board Exams 2020 in some parts of North-East Delhi. But during the aforementioned period, re-examinations that were rescheduled to be held for North-East Delhi candidates only will also be further rescheduled.
Board will announce the rescheduled dates by 31st March, 2020, after re-assessment of the situation.
All schools may ensure that this Information is disseminated to all concerned students from their respective schools.
CBSE Board Exams Paper Evaluation 2020
The CBSE announcement came following a directive from the HRD ministry saying exams are important but safety and security of students and teachers is equally important.
All the ongoing board exams related evaluation work in various evaluation centres in the country is also suspended upto 31st March, 2020.
All Centre Nodal Supervisors may ensure rescheduling of evaluation work from 01st April, 2020, unless otherwise informed by the Board.
Exams Posponed Due To Coronavirus Epidemic
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also postponed JEE for IIT, engineering college admissions. “Fresh date for JEE to be decided in accordance with schedule of board, other competitive exams“, said National Testing Agency on March 18.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has also postponed all exams.
MHRD, India has also released a notice to posponed all the University exams during 19th March to 31st March 2020. The fresh dates for these exams will be announced after 31st March 2020.
Only, Staff Selection Commission is conducting the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exams 2019 during 17th March to 28th March 2020.
