DRDO Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For the post of Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science Or Diploma in Engineering or Technology or Computer Science or Allied Subjects, recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in the required Discipline.

Qualification for Technician-A (Tech-A): Applicant must have passed class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. They must also have a certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

DRDO Pay Scale

Pay Scale for Senior Technical Assistant- B will be Rs 35,400 and Rs 1,12,400 per month and for Technician A Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 Level-2 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix and other benefits/ allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules.

DRDO Latest Recruitment Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 28 Years of age to be eligible for Senior Technical Assistant-B. relaxation will be applied as per extant Govt of India rules

Candidate must be between 18 and 28 Years of age for Technician-A (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC- NCL/ESM/PwBD/Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Departmental Candidates with three years continuous service in Central Government, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons Domiciled in J&K State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt. of India rules).

Selection process

Selection for this recruitment will be on the basis of a Computer Based Exam along with many other stages. A final merit list of the selected candidates will be created, which will be forwarded to the various appointing authorities in the labs and installations, who will subsequently issue the employment letters to the individuals.
