Purnea University was established on 18 March 2018 after its bifurcation from Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura.The first academic year of the university was scheduled to be 2018–19.
पूर्णिया विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना 18 मार्च 2018 को भूपेंद्र नारायण मंडल विश्वविद्यालय, मधेपुरा से होने के बाद हुई। विश्वविद्यालय का पहला शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2018-19 होना था।
The pre test exam for Purnea University BA/B.SC/B.COM Part 1 is starting from 25th January, 2019and will end on 30th January, 2019.
