Selection Process for RRB Group D Level I
The selection will be done through all three stages given below. The final selection of the candidate will be based on 1st stage (Computer Based Test).
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification and Medical
RRC Group D 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam shall be Computer Based Test (CBT). The recruitment Body will conduct the CBT in either single or multi-stage mode. Candidates qualified in the CBT will have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

- The total no of questions will be 100.
- The maximum time duration for this test is 90 Minutes.
- The examination duration will be 120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by Scribe.
- There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

RRC Group D Physical Test Detail
CBT qualified candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Three times the community-wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs/RRCs. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for PET is as below.
Male Candidate | Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down, and Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. |
Female Candidate | Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance. |
Group D Level I Document Verification
Based on the performance of candidates in Computer Based Test and PET, candidates twice the number of vacancies will be called for Document Verification as per their merit and options.
