THE Asia Awards 2020 Released Eight Indian Institutes In Top 100: Times Higher Education Asia Awards 2020 has been released on 03rd June 2020, Wednesday. The shortlist for the 2020 Times Higher Education Awards Asia, which is twice the number of categories this year.
More than 60 universities have made the shortlist, after more than 150 institutions from almost 30 territories submitted entries. This year’s event will honour institutions across 10 categories, up from five last year. Eight Institutes from India have been listed in Top 100. Times Higher Education Asia Awards 2020
About THE Awards Asia: Following 14 years as a landmark event in the UK higher education calendar, 2019 saw us take the prestigious THE Awards overseas for the first time.
The response to THE Awards Asia from across the continent far exceeded our expectations, with the number of entrants, their wide geographical spread and the brilliant stories they told (not to mention the atmosphere everyone generated during the spectacular ceremony itself at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi) making them a huge success.
Recently Times Higher Education Group has released the Emerging Economies University Rankings 2020 with Top 100 Universities List. In which China took 81 places, with Tsinghua University claiming the top spot and India was the second most-represented country, with 56 universities.
The Institutes have been awarded in 10 categories including:

THE Awards Asia 2020 attracts nominations from hundreds of widely acknowledged universities that are among the best in the world. These awards recognise and celebrate the transformational work of selected universities across 48 nations of the Asian continent.
This year’s virtual awards ceremony will be held in November 2020.
