BSSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2024

The minimum eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit are as mentioned below:

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university or institution. Also, note that the degree should be in the prescribed subject that is required for the post.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 21 to 37 years for the UR category and age relaxations are provided to the reserved category candidates as per their category.

• The BSSC CGL Prelims Exam covers 3 sections such as General Studies, General Science and Mathematics, English Language/Logical Reasoning/Mental Ability.
• It consists of a total of 150 objective-type questions.
• Each question in the exam carries 4 marks.
• The total time duration for the eaxm will be 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
• The minimum qualifying mark of Paper 1 is 30% out of the total.
