CDS Selection Process

There are four stages in the UPSC CDS Selection Process for the positions at the Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA).

UPSC CDS Exam Pattern

The CDS exam pattern is not the same for all military academies. The exam conducted for the Officers’ Training Academy varies slightly in terms of the number of sections.

However, the questions in both papers will be objective type only. The paper will be bilingual.

Each section will carry 100 marks and the duration will be 2 hours.
